A magnifying glass with a recycled paper bead-embellished handle. This is a one of a kind magnifying glass, embellished with my handmade paper beads. Specially priced (regular price, $18) to reflect imperfections in the edge of the glass.
I make my paper beads from recycled magazine pages using a centuries old technique, that is still in use worldwide today. My special touch is the beautifully glazed protective finish I apply to each bead, which creates a tough, glass-like appearance that keeps the colors underneath looking brilliant, and creates a durable, moisture-resistant surface. Display this beauty on your desk, where you can be sure to read all the fine print, or in your work/craft space.
